Angelo Agrizzi from Bosasa
COO of the Bosasa Group, Angelo Agrizzi has successfully championed the career path development of clients – helping them to reach their full leadership potential. Angelo Agrizzi knows that a valued client is more than a source of revenue for company growth and competitiveness. Having been groomed for leadership in a ‘giving-back’ atmosphere as a young man, today Angelo Agrizzi delivers handsomely on this philosophy.
For Angelo Agrizzi the vendor-client environment is one of a partnership, where both sides benefit. He has also realised that a significant knowledge base is owned by clients and with this is as a platform, they could always benefit from best practise, practical training. Who better than Bosasa, claims Angelo Agrizzi, to supply what unique client environments required? A skills survey was mandated by Angelo Agrizzi of Bosasa’s entire client base. This survey showed that many clients, particularly those in the public sector, have neither the budget nor the time to access global training benchmarks which are traditionally acquired at annual international conferences. It is at conferences such as these (usually held in Europe and the USA) that attending delegates acquire leadership insights that no books or journals can provide. It is here that the finest minds meet to discuss future trends in all sectors of public and private enterprise. Following the Bloomberg initiatives, Angelo Agrizzi attended global conventions with purpose. It is here that the world’s leaders speak of their evolving leadership thinking and how they succeeded in making a difference. Then after consulting with the leadership of every client, Angelo Agrizzi recorded the skills base and architecture they believed would add meaningful value, transforming lives in each environment. These were skills that would enhance the credibility of the public sector and its leadership.
Consulting with educational and business leaders Angelo Agrizzi also crystallised leadership programmes that covered both the knowledge and skills aspirant leaders would need to remain motivated in the public sector workplace. Bussed in to Mogale Business Park from all over South Africa at Bosasa’s expense, public sector delegates enjoyed Bosasa hospitality at the Mogale Lodge and state of the art training centres. Hungry for knowledge they took with them theory and practical applications. These leadership advancement programmes which Angelo Agrizzi initiated served to build and preserve long term relationships with grateful clients. Angelo Agrizzi remains recognised by staff members in the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) and the Department of Justice for his initiatives. Members of DCS leadership have expressed their delight with knowledge, insight and personal growth gained into global best practises.
